RN – Infusion Nurse

The primary role of the Home Infusion Nurse is to provide clinical care and education in patient homes and also in ambulatory infusion suites, where available.

All infusion therapies and medication delivery is provided in accordance with Pharmacy policies, procedures and therapy-specific protocols, and based on comprehensive orders received from a physician.

The infusion nurse works collaboratively with the pharmacy, patient and other team members.

Ideally the candidate must be willing to travel and cover Northern New Jersey areas.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted RN license in NJ state.
  • Peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Nursing Certifications (CRNI preferred)
  • Must have excellent IV skills ,  IV certification,  Prior experience in home infusion Therapy preferred ( PICC liners, Ports)
  • BLS Certification required
  • Valid driver’s licenseStrong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all patients and their families in a positive and professional manner
  • 2 yrs home infusion Experience with IV therapies such as IVIG, SCIG, Entyvio, antibiotics , TPN, is a plus
  • Reliable car/auto insurance
  • Clean background and criminal record
  • Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
